BIOGRAPHY

"Carlos recommended that Ant G quit his day job and pursue music full-time, so he did. Two days later Carlos brought Ant G to Boosie’s house where Boosie offered him a contract to join Badazz Music Syndicate and Ant G was signed within the week."

Ant G is a hip-hop artist from Boston, MA who is signed to Boosie Badazz. He started writing music when he was 14 years old and drew inspiration from artists such as Eminem, Jay Z, The Game, Lupe Fiasco, Kid Cudi, J. Cole, Mac Miller, Kendrick Lamar and Drake among others.

Ant G moved to North Carolina when he was 18 and lived there until he was 22. In the time he spent in the South, Ant released two mixtapes and focused on developing his sound. In December of 2017 Ant G performed for the first time in McComb, MS as an opening act for C-Loc and Camp Life Ent. His music was well received so he decided to enter a Hood Idol Tour showcase hosted by Lex Luga in Atlanta, which he won. Ant competed in, and won, several other showcases in the southern United States, including the Atlanta leg of MC B-Moss' Mossfest Tour. Ant G was beginning to build a reputation for himself so he decided to seek mentorship.

He reached out to Carlos Brown, of Real Network Promotions and Global Rhythm Entertainment, and invested in an hour of over-the-phone consulting and a promotional package that would change his life forever. Carlos recommended that Ant G quit his day job and pursue music full-time, so he did. Two days later Carlos brought Ant G to Boosie’s house where Boosie offered him a contract to join Badazz Music Syndicate and Ant G was signed within the week.

Shortly after signing, Ant G opened for Gunna and went on a promotional run alongside Kevin Gates’ Luca Brasi 3 Tour. He then opened for Lil Baby, performed at the Southern Heat Music Festival, opened for Fred Tha Godson in New York and performed at SXSW in 2019. He released a mixtape titled Veni. Vidi. Vici., which is hosted by BWA Ron, and three singles titled “Cosa Nostra”, “Like The Hippies” and “Bluetooth”. "Like The Hippies" was the first release of his newest project titled I-90, which was released on April 20, 2019. Ant G has seen his streams double from his first mixtape to his second and is certainly an artist for hip hop fans to keep their eyes (and ears) on in the future.
